Agera (Sweden, 2010)

In 2010 Koenigsegg is celebrating 15 years of existence with the launch of its latest supercar: the Agera. The new model by Koenigsegg, according to the brand, wants to “take the Koenigsegg experience to the next level, both on the road and the track”.

Meaning “to act” in Swedish, the name Agera was chosen to symbolize the Koenigsegg philosophy of always improving its cars and pushing its designs to the limit. Although the Koenigsegg CC concept has already been created 15 years ago, the Agera still keeps some of the original features of the model, such as shape and size, adding at the same time some modernity, with all new content.

The Koenigsegg Agera will be powered by a 4.7-litre V8 petrol engine with a maximum output of 910 hp, at 6850 rpm. The engine reaches its maximum torque of 1100 Nm at 5100 rpm. The Agera has an estimated top speed of 390 km/h and acceeration from 0 to 100km/h in just 3.1 seconds.
